Join us for our next YP Professional Development Beer with a Boss series event - Thursday, June 13th - Featuring Laura Eysnogle, with Wendel.

Throughout the year, we will host leaders from the Chippewa Valley in candid, laid-back conversations over a beer. These leaders will share their personal success stories, challenges they've overcome, and valuable advice they have for you as a young professional. A moderated discussion with the guest will kick off the event with time for Q & A from attendees. 


More about our guest: 

Laura is a registered Architect, a registered Interior Designer, and a market leader in the design of emergency services facilities. After graduating from UW-Stout in 2006, Laura embarked on her journey to become an architect, at a time when less than 20% of architects were female, and because of the great recession, more than 25% of professionals in the industry were permanently laid off, and underemployed many more. Laura’s motto of “say yes to every good opportunity” lead her to work around the country and ultimately, back to the Chippewa Valley in 2012. Since that time, Laura has worked to become an expert in the emergency services facilities design, attending and presenting at national conferences, serving as a judge for Firehouse Station Style Awards, and has written articles for the same publication.

Laura’s focus at the Beer with a Boss will be on career resiliency, being female in a male-dominated world, and taking a chance on yourself.
