Description

Registration is closed, but there is still room and you can register at the door.  If you've been following state news, you know that crucial deliberations are underway in Madison to draft the all-important biennial state budget. Many important policy priorities for the business community are on the table, not only for funding, but with a number of bills proposed to address shared revenue for local governments, repeal of the personal property tax, housing supply and affordability, childcare, workforce attraction and retention, and more. We'll also hear about the remaining steps to secure completion funding for the UWEC Science and Health Sciences Building, Stout's Heritage Hall, and other major projects in the capital budget.

To bring us up to date, we've invited members of the State Assembly and Senate who represent the Chippewa Valley to give us a timely look at how our regional priorities are faring in Madison. They will also answer questions submitted by participants. Register now and join us on June 16..

A limited number of spaces are available in the RCU Visitors Lot (P1 on the map).  If that is full, park in the student parking (P3) across from the footbridge.  Permits for those lots will not be required before 9:30 a.m. that day.  There is also a paid parking lot (P7) off University Drive to the east of the building.  Enter the Business Education Center through the front doors [1] and you'll find the Casper Conference Center is straight to the back.
