Learn Better Launches Lead Better Foundations, a Nine-Month Leadership Development Program for Emerging Leaders
EAU CLAIRE, Wis.: Learn Better, an employee learning and development company, today announced the launch of Lead Better Foundations, a nine-month leadership development program designed for new and emerging leaders, as well as high-potential employees preparing to step into leadership roles.
The program runs January through September 2027, with half-day sessions held on the second Wednesday of each month from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at The Coven in Eau Claire. Session dates are January 13, February 10, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, and September 8.
"Moving from individual contributor to leader is one of the most important and challenging transitions in a person's career," said Sarah Welsh, founder of Learn Better. "New leaders are expected to communicate clearly, navigate conflict, build trust, and support performance, yet many step into leadership without the chance to intentionally develop those skills. Lead Better Foundations closes that gap."
Built on Learn Better's brain-based approach to learning, the program combines practical leadership concepts, individual reflection, group discussion, and real-world application. Participants will work toward eight core outcomes: shifting from individual contributor to leader, developing self-awareness, communicating with clarity and confidence, building trust and psychological safety, navigating feedback and difficult conversations, delegating and coaching others, responding productively to conflict and change, and taking ownership of team culture and performance.
Lead Better Foundations is open to new leaders and managers, emerging leaders preparing for their next step, aspiring managers, high-potential employees, and individual contributors already leading projects or peers. No formal leadership title is required.
Organizations that invest in leadership development earlier, before a promotion or a struggle prompts it, build a stronger leadership pipeline, greater consistency in leadership practices, and better retention through visible investment in employee growth, according to Learn Better.
Individual enrollment is $2,400. Participants are invoiced for their first monthly payment upon registration, with remaining payments beginning in February.
