EAU CLAIRE, WI — S.C. Swiderski (SCS) is proud to announce the launch of the SCS Education Rent‑Free Contest, a community-focused initiative designed to support the Eau Claire Area School District in recruiting and retaining dedicated educators. Through the contest, one eligible local educator will receive 12 months of free rent in a one-bedroom apartment at SCS Eau Claire, a modern apartment community with great amenities located in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

The Rent‑Free Contest is intended to strengthen connections among SCS Eau Claire, the Eau Claire Area School District, and the broader community while recognizing the important role educators play in shaping the future.

Applicants will be asked to respond to the following question:

“What will a year of free rent do for you, your students, your school, or your district?”

Applicants are encouraged to describe both the personal and educational impact of receiving one year of free rent. Submissions will be reviewed by a multi-person selection committee using a structured scoring process.

The contest is open exclusively to current, active employees of the Eau Claire Area School District who meet SCS leasing criteria and submit a complete application.

Key Dates:

• Application window: August 24 through September 18, 2026
• Winner selection: September 28, 2026
