Position: Young Professionals Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Education

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Employment Status: Part-Time


Position Summary:

Plan, organize, and execute the Chamber’s Young Professionals programming through the Young 

Professionals of the Chippewa Valley. Work closely with the Director of Education and the YP 

Executive Committee to deliver high-quality programming, increase engagement, and support the 

Chamber’s goals of member development and retention.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as staff liaison to the Young Professionals of the Chippewa Valley (YPCV). 
  • Organize and manage YP events and programs including planning, logistics, sponsorship, and follow-up.
  • Attend and be responsible for updates at bi-monthly YP Board meetings. 
  • Maintain constant contact with the YP Exec Team in planning efforts, preparing for board meetings, etc.
  • Attend and co-facilitate YP Sub-Committee meetings.
  • Continue to build and maintain a strong relationship with the Chippewa Falls Chamber YP liaison in YP efforts and events.
  • Lead YP recruitment and retention efforts, including onboarding new members. 
  • Maintain the YP membership list and ensure timely communications. 
  • Develop and distribute YP communications including newsletters and social media content. 
  • Coordinate with sponsors and support sponsorship engagement for YP and Chamber events. Provide administrative support including meeting notices, agendas, and reporting. 
  • Support Chamber-wide investor retention by building strong relationships with members, communicating value, and ensuring a positive experience with Chamber programs and services.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent preferred. 
  • Experience with Chambers, associations, or nonprofit program coordination preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms; familiarity with membership databases preferred.  
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Enthusiastic about working with emerging leaders and young professionals.
